The Kids Clothing Swap is the brainchild of Marla Naujoks, a former Portland resident (currently living in Hollis and still very attached to the city!). While combing the streets one day during Spring Cleaning, Marla happened upon a box full of children's clothes. Having one very beautiful child herself (you can check him out here), she enthusiastically nabbed the clothes. This prompted the thought that All Kids Clothing Should Be Free! There is certainly enough clothing out there, and so much simply gets thrown away because not everyone knows someone to hand-me-down to. The Kids Clothing Swap was born. is      Using her own money for small bits of advertising, clothing bins, gas, and eventually investing in a trailer for her '86 Volvo, Marla has grown the clothing swap from a few bags of clothes to an entire car and utility trailer full of bins, everything from newborn receiving blankets to 6-12 year old kids clothes. Our inventory grows with every swap, and all the clothes are FREE. Clothing donations are always welcome, but not necessary.      The Kids Clothing Swap features very nice clothes, too. We personally sort through and factor out stained and ripped clothing, leaving only quality clothes in good condition. Many of the clothes are brand name: L.L.
